My roommate and I had been living together for six years, but he left for Xi'an yesterday, and I went with him to help him move and find a new place to live. We traveled to Xi'an to explore the possibility of finding a more affordable city to settle down and buy a house in, as we are both getting older and cannot afford the skyrocketing house prices in first-tier cities without draining our parents' savings. We have attempted to find a new place to live before, but my attempt last year was unsuccessful, and now it is his turn. I am concerned that the outcome of this trip is unpredictable, and it may turn out that Xi'an is not a suitable place for us to live.
